About Bimbo 365 -
In 1931, Italian Agostino Giuntoli (nicknamed "Bimbo" by a prior boss) and his partner Young opened the 365 Club at 365 Market Street. Despite people being weary of the Depression, the club was continuously crowded with celebrities and stars from across America. Lines of chorus girls kicked high to the music while Gin was being served in coffee cups.
When Bimbo’s moved to Columbus Avenue in 1951, the scene got even more exciting featuring Jugglers, dance teams, stand-up comics, crooners chantootsies, Stage Door Johns, a proper band in proper uniform. Menus expanded to Multi-course dinners with Red Sparkling Burgundy being served nice-bucketed lady in a silver fox stole.
Bimbo’s now hosts private parties, special events, and concerts. Some of their corporate clients include Cellular One, Oracle, National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences, and Yahoo!.
Some of the artists that have performed on their stage are Chris Isaak, The Raconteurs, Adele, Robin Williams, and Jill Scott.
